Search URL function in ‘SEARCH PAGES’ for a specific URL

This was asked a few years ago and only answered by stating that you can figure it out by reading everything about how to do it yourself. Wondering if there is a more helpful, explanatory and beneficial answer out there.

When in wpadmin and trying to SEARCH PAGES for a particular page, I would find it EXTREMELY helpful to be able to put in the URL name and have the results show that. The Titles of the pages are for internal use, but on the website, the URL name is for users. When looking and testing the website, I can easily see the URL name, but then internally to find and edit that page is not so easy with lots and lots of pages.

I have already added the URL name in the results of my searches for pages. So now I can see the Title, Author, Date AND URL name. So, if anyone has an idea of a quick piece of script that can be added to a certain file somewhere or a plugin (I’ve been searching, but that all appear to be related to searches on the site for users)….anything would be really appreciated.

Example…
Have a url to a page that is http://www.mysite.com/explore/
Internally, the page is titled “Search page for locations”

when in wpadmin > pages….the SEARCH PAGES field on the top right will find the page if I know the title, but when I discovered something to edit while on the website, I don’t know the title. Would be great if the search field would allow me to enter “explore” and then have that page come up in the results.
