Can’t sent automated welcome mail from plugin

Hello,

I would like an automated email to be sent out once a customer subscribes but I can’t seem to be able to get that function to work. Can you show me how it is done?

Am I supposed to enter some detail in the recipient field of the mail that suppose to go out?
