When I try to add analytics to my new wordpress page, it asks me to identify a profile and I’m using my Google profile, then it takes me to a page which shows a pointer to an old, unrelated website I used to work on. This is incorrect, but it doesn’t let me edit that link. I don’t understand what it’s trying to do here, why’s it pointing to a website when I’m hosting a new WordPress site on Bluehost? I don’t currently have a published site, is that necessary even though I’m intending to track activity on my Bluehost wordpress site? How can I complete the analytics installation? I’m posting in this forum on the recommendation of a seasoned user.
