Plugin works great and straight forward. There is nothing much to configure, just add etracker ID and off you go.
BTW. We checked the other free WP etracker plugin as well but it seems outdated and no longer supported. At least we had issues and conflicts with other plugins (ie. stripe payment)
Background (why we switched from Google Analytics to etracker)
We are based in Germany. Due to GDPR and rising issues with the authorities regarding data protection, we had to implement a consent tool to continue with Google Analytics. Unfortunate result: less than 10% of the users opted in for tracking. This basically renders all optimization efforts useless.
Now we’ve switched to etracker. No consent banner necessary, free of cost and 99% of the users get tracked. We are super happy now. Clear recommendation. Thanks guys!
