We long ago got over (I hope) using tables for page layout, but there are many uses where nothing but a table works. The table editor in WordPress’s tinymce is woefully lacking in capability and Gutenberg’s table block is no better.
Tobias has created an incredibly useful alternative. It can do ~~almost~~ everything I want.
Some might ask for more advanced text editing within cells, but if you know a little html and css, there’s almost nothing more to want.
except… Frequently, I want to import tables from PowerPoint slides. That would be a great addition, but I understand how complex it might become and why it would warrant a premium price.
