Date Picker error on Safari

Hi,

This issue is quite popular on internet and i cannot find a solution.

users whith Safari have the message “incorrect date format” whatever they write or choose in the date picker

here is what i’ve tried:

“Add this script into your Theme Functions file functions.phpadd_filter( ‘wpcf7_support_html5_fallback’, ‘__return_true’ );Then you also need this in your custom CSS:div#ui-datepicker-div { z-index:1000!important; }The date field still looks blank but then when you click in the field, the datepicker pops up showing the calendar!”

and this:
“I have added the code to the functions.php file in my child theme, and have also added this code: div#ui-datepicker-div {z-index:1000!important;} to my css but I am not seeing any changes in safari.”

And this:
“add_filter( ‘wpcf7_support_html5_fallback’, ‘__return_true’ );”

There’s so many people having this issue, i don’t understand it still exists….

could anyone help me to fix this please?
