After updating my blog to Antispam Bee Version 2.9.2, I seem to be encountering issues revolving around traffic being blocked. When trying to share a post from the blog to various social media platforms, the JSON-LD Schema markup is no longer being read and the following errors are being thrown up:
Facebook Sharing Debugger Error:
Check that the webserver is running, and that there are no firewalls blocking Facebook’s crawlers.
Twitter Card Validator:
ERROR: Fetching the page failed because other errors.
After disabling the Antispam Bee plug-in, the Facebook and Twitter errors went away, the Schema markup and all post information were detected, and I was able to properly share the content on social.
Could something in the update to Version 2.9.2 be causing this? I don’t have many plug-ins installed, and the few that are installed haven’t been updated in weeks, so I don’t suspect those are causing any issues.
