Is there a global setting to not display related posts at bottom of post?

I want to disable “related posts” from appearing directly beneath the post’s content. I only want to use the widget to display them (in the sidebar).

I know I can turn this off on each post, by unchecking the “Disable Related Posts Display” checkbox in the meta box every time I post a Blog Post, but is there a way to do this globally in one setting?
