Exclude custom post type from link search

Hello,

I’ve registered a custom post type using register_post_type() with exclude_from_search set to true. I thought maybe that would also exclude those posts from being selectable as a link in the editor, but when I create a link in Gutenberg I am able to select posts of that post type. How can I exclude my custom post type from being selectable as a link?
