I have seen a number of posts about this and some with recommendations. The problem is, they aren’t working. Here’s the deal:
1) Exports fine
2) Hangs on import trying to restore from the backup file. The point at which it hangs varies depending on the size of the site. When it does fail, it has a useless error such as “Import Failed” or something to that effect.
I have a registered copy of the Unlimited Extension for it, so it’s not the file size. I have tried something as simple as Exporting and trying to import at the same location after changing a few things on the site so I’ll know the import restored to the previous state. This eliminates the question about PHP version and other things that people have suggested.
If this plug-in doesn’t work as marketed, it’s worthless to me. I need it to backup my sites and also to move from one domain to another.
Since I’m not the only one having this issue, I’m guessing there is something serious going on with this plug-in.
I am open to suggestions, but about ready to jump ship and find another solution. UpdraftPlus has been recommended, anyone familiar with that? Any other solid recommendations would be great as well. I really would like to keep using All-in-One-Migration, but I need it to work as it used to.
