Hello, I was told to try this part of the forum. I added some buttons to a plugin in JS via registerFormat (not on my PC atm I think there’s another word in that function) with a RichTextToolbarButton in the edit parameter of the function.
Everything is working the way I want except that it is automatically hidden behind the “More Richtext” dropdown. Is it possible to bring my buttons to the main toolbar area? One of them adds a tag that is only semantic so I’d like to be able to see the depressed buttons for feedback without clicking into the drop again.
Alternatively, if there’s no way to get out of the dropdown, can I create my own toolbar with clones of these buttons or maybe move everything away from the richtexttoolbar entirely? Looking around it seems possible with block controls but I keep getting sent in circles not to mention one answer is EsNext while the next thing I find isn’t. So I can’t figure my way around any of it despite hours of searching and tinkering. The registerFormat function is the only thing I’ve found any success with.
