I have a scenario where the site owner wants to have a preview email sent to him and his site admins on the afternoon before the main newsletter gets sent out to the whole subscriber list.
To do this, I configured a separate email, and a new group for Admins. The subscribers in the Admin group are also subscribers in the main group – so they are listed twice in the whole subscriber list.
When I tested this the first time, those uses who appeared twice, never got either email (neither the preview nor the main email). I’ve stabilized my cron job so now I’m in a better position to test it again later this week, but can a single user be listed in the subscribers twice, and be in two different groups to receive two different emails?
