It’s me again.
I’ve got a question about slideshows in posts.
Most of what I do with WPPA+ is use it to display a slideshow of photos in the middle of my weblog posts.
I received the following question from an avid reader:
“I used to be able to click on your slideshows and be taken to the album. I can’t do that anymore. Can you fix that?”
I think what he’s referring to is that prior to a few years ago, I was still hosting my photos on Picasaweb, and I had a plug-in that let me do slideshows. I converted to WPPA+ quite a while back, but my older posts were still using the old plug-in until about a year ago.
Is there a way to configure WPPA+ to jump to the photo album when you click on a slideshow?
Update: I’ve been able to leave you alone for several weeks now. I’ve had no problems with WPPA+ since that last update. Caching for the widgets is working great. Traffic has increased on the site because folks can now browse my photos in the sidebars and it takes them to the underlying post.
Update #2: My wife is the family genealogist, and she just found a link between my Mom’s kin and one of the Dutch founders of New Amsterdam. Who knows! We might be related!
