Did exactly what it proposed to do…frankly tackles a long-overdue issue relating to the import/export functionality of wordpress.
Using the standard capabilities, I was unable to port over data like “featured images” and the downloading of attachments into our site failed.
When I used this plugin, all of that was fixed.
