Hi,
I love this plugin and the related service and I currently try the free tier. What I really like recently was, for instance, to get notified by Wordfence via email when there was a security issue on that one GDPR plugin that was taken offline for a while.
However, often Wordfence sends emails that educate people in how to secure your own WordPress site. While I think this is a good service, I often don’t think these are helpful to me, since I’m very aware about the typical security issues that are common in web systems and I keep me up2date on my own.
The last mail involved information about bruteforce attacks. One other included the risk of using plugins that are not updated, etc. I think the email subscription settings should allow to turn those off, separately. I cannot turn them off without turning all security related mails off, as I assume those mails are all covered in “Wordfence Security Mailing List”, because I have only enabled those and “Wordfence Weekly”.
Is there a way to get only news about new security issues on plugins and WordPress itself?
Thank you and best regards,
Martin
