I have been using this plugin to make custom taxonomy called Vehicle_type.
I have a car parts website and with this custom taxonomy I am adding car brand/model to the products, so customers can filter their car model. You can see it on the shop page sidebar at the bottom.
I am using WPML and have selected to not translate Vehicle_type, but instead copy from the original language. Because I don’t want to make translations for these Vehicles types, because almost all car brands and models are the same for each language.
However this doesn’t seem to work correct. With WP All Import I have added Vehicle_type to about 10.000 products. It works good for the main language, but the taxonomy is not duplicated for all of these products for the second language. It doesn’t seem correct. Taxonomies for some products seem duplicated correctly, but some doesn’t at all.
I have also checked and WPML doesn’t show my custom taxonomy Vehicle_type as taxonomy in the translation management. Seems like something is going wrong generally. Can you please help me out?
