re: WooCommerce Product Categories – we use an api to create and update inventory. Product categories are assigned to each product. If a typo is made a new category is created. For example if the category is Moisturizers > Face Moisturizer and the category is entered as Moisturizer > Face Moisturizers new product categories will be created. These of course will link to nothing and the product will not be found in the proper category. We have over 5,000 SKUS. My question is – is there a way to not create a new category when this happens but rather have an error message returned to alert us of the issue.
