Hi there,
We used Smush to previously optimize our photos for WebP and lazyload. My team did the ‘directory bulk smush’ thinking it would save us space which made our photos disappear. I then used ‘regenerate thumbnails’ and deleted the Smush plugin. This set our website back to normal.
I need a plugin for image optimization still – if I reinstalled the Smush plugin would the settings from before revert back? We now know not to go near ‘directory bulk smush’ and everything worked fine before this was clicked (just using the normal smush options, WebP, and lazyload).
