NOTE: I don’t mean to come off as douchey (if I do), I’m just a bit “out there” in the way I talk.
I’d like to start off by saying, yes, I get it, “responsiveness is the future and everyone and their mother must have a responsive WP site to prevent the apocalypse from happening”.
I’m totally fine with my website not being “Mobile Friendly”. I’m scared of a lot of things in life, but Google’s search ranking methods isn’t one of them.
I’ve laid out my website in such a way that it’s pretty easy to navigate in mobile. What’s happening right now, however, is that in mobile and on tablets, every little thing that I meticulously put in place according to my finicky Photoshop rendering beside me to the exact pixel alignment get’s thrown completely out of whack when in Responsive Mobile/Tablet mode, and it turns what was a cute and interesting website design (in my opinion, or I have awful taste, who knows) into a flurried nightmare of linked JPGs, widgets, and menu buttons.
Again, I’m 100% fine with the prospect of my website appearing exactly the same on all screens. I would just like to know how I could turn off the Make theme’s automatic responsiveness (if I can, otherwise, you’d also be doing me a huge favor if you could direct me to a free theme that would let me turn off responsiveness).
Thank you a bunches in advanced for your time. 🙂
