Add Ivory Search to template pages (shortcode)

Hello,

Id like to add the search bar to the blue topbar, is there a way to add this into the header template php file? I tried inserting the shortcode but it didnt work. If this is not possible i need to make it float to the right and come down a little so that it looks like its contained within the top blue bar. If someone knows the code for that, that would be great, thanks.
