The ability to choose an author for posts (dropdown selector usually tucked in the menu) has just disappeared. I can still select an author using the “quick edit” feature on the posts overview page, but the box is gone on the actual “edit post” page.
I have 3 authors and they all have the ability to write posts. It seemed like it just happened out of nowhere.
