I manage numerous WordPress sites, and I’ve been able to narrow down the suspect to this plugin. On one site, you can’t insert an image into the post/page editor without deactivating the plugin first, use the block editor to add the image, and then reactivate the Classic Editor plugin to continue editing the post.
On another site, you cannot update any page without getting a 403 Forbidden Error. Disable the Classic Editor plugin and the problem goes away.
These all started to happen after WordPress 5.3 was released.
