Gravity Forms conditional field and Listing ID

I would like to have a conditional field in the Gravity Forms application form which is tied to certain values of the Contact Listing’s “Listing ID” hidden field.

I set up the form as specified in the documentation (and video) and verified it works.

Yet when I add the conditional field, the entire form will no longer render; the gform_wrapper element has an inline style of “display: none;”.

If the above is not possible, is there a way to specify a GF application form per Job Listing?
