I have a network site with one primary site and 3 sub-domains that are currently just empty WP multi-sites. I was hoping to copy my primary site to all three multi-site sub-domains, however they already exist and apparently I can’t clone unless it’s a new sub-domain. does that mean I need to delete my old sub-domains in order to do this, or just remove them from the network? I don’t want to change the names as I already have links set up. In addition I see that there is a 4 letter minimum for domain names, which you said somewhere was a WordPress restriction, however one of my networks sub-domains is already set up and working at only 2 characters long with no problem from WP,.. lx.domain-name.com , so if I do have to delete my sub-domains or remove my multi-sites from the network somehow (however I do that) when I go to recreate it with the clone plugin is it not gonna let me create one with that same name. I already have links heading there so that’s the name I need.
