JetEngine from Crocoblock, offers a mechanism to create relationships between different CPT. They can create their own CPT like any other plugin (Toolbox, CPT UI, …) or they can use other plugins CPT like tribe_events, tribe_venues, tribe_organizers, etc.
So I tried to create a relationship between a JetEngine CPT called Country and a The Events Calendar tribe_events CPT
Everytime we create a relationship, a metabox appears in both the Country and the other CPT (in this case The Event Calendar event creation page)
In the Country CPT relationship metabox with events, the TEC events can be added without issues
But in the tribe_event CPT relationship metabox with countries, the countries are blocked as I show in this image:

I’ve contacted JetEngine support and gave them a Sandbox server to check this, and after further research, they told me that the issue is in The Events Calendar that is causing an issue with select2
Here is their answer:
During our investigation we’ve found the following error on the Event page https://prnt.sc/pqilk6. Please note Events Calendar plugin uses custom elements that cause a conflict with select2 query. I suggest to contact support team of this plugin as they will be able to modify the Events Calendar plugin elements.
