I manage a site for another company. They have several plug-ins and their wordpress installation is way behind. They have done SOME custom coding in addition to that that may or may not rely on old structures.
Is is possible to update the wordpress install on just the staging site using the folder created by this plug=in or do I need to go through a more manual method?
