Hi,
today i installed my wordpress and everything seemed to be fine. I spend the whole day configuring my website. I noticed, however, that in the domain bar of the browser it would not show my domain, but the actual URL of my hoster.
Because i do not know how to change this, i went to settings in wordpress and changed the url of my wordpress website. I changed it from the url of my hoster to my domain i bought (which should then redirect to my hoster, anyways). I only did this because i wanted to have the browser show my domain instead of the ugly hoster url.
HOWEVER: After clicking accept it immediately logged me off my page. When i want to visit my website under the url it now says “error because of infinite redirection”. Even worse, i can not log into my wordpress anymore to make the change back.
Is there anyway to fix this? Maybe by editing a .php on my ftp where it says where to direct the url of my wordpress website? But where can i edit this? Or is there any other way?
I spend more then 10 hours on this website today. It would be truely sad if i have to do everything from start again.
