I’ve been pulling my hair out here because I have a form where I can update everything in a user’s profile to build them a custom designed webpage for our business; the only thing I can’t do is update their profile photos, and without their profile photos I can’t finish their accounts.
I’m currently using Ultimate Member and would have to complete my own form for everything, and then go into the Dashboard or to UM just to change the profile picture, but I want that power in my user’s hands to do so.
Please, I’ve searched everywhere, I just need to know how to take the image file uploaded by users on the front end, and set it as their profile picture in WordPress. From what I can tell from everything I’m reading I need to set their Gravatar but all I can find are calls for getting/displaying their gravatar and not how to actually set it. I don’t want users to have to build their profile with us, then go make a Gravatar account and change one picture seperately over there; I just want to set their profile picture at the same time.
