Hello team,
I just run an optimization after backing up my database.
I checked optimizing tables, removing revisions and drafts (+4000), removing spams, removing expired transients and metadatas.
Then I re backed up the database and it increased by 37mo (from 123mo to 160mo) !
When I compare both files in text editor, I can see that there is a lot of new lines.
Finally, I reloaded a page with and without the cache enabled but I didn’t see any change in the loading time compared to the loading time before the optimizations. So, I wonder if, even with decreased size of the database, I would have seen better performances.
So, now I am a bit confused about the purpose of the optimizations offered by wp-optimize.
Can you let me know what I missed and what I did wrong/misunderstood ?
Thank you
