Hi,
I am using Zotpress to retrieve a set of items and display them on a web site with a custom style. Can I get the shortcode to use the sort order specified in the style?
I have set up the style to sort on the Zotero “Extra” field since that appears in all the Zotero item types. The “Extra” field is mapped to the CSL “note” variable, so the style (in theory) sorts on that.
(Some time ago, I asked about sorting on other fields in Zotpress. I recall that you explained the complexities of sorting made it difficult to add other sort modalities. When I was editing my style, I noticed the <sort> option and figured this would be a good way to address that issue. At least, if the items can be accessed that way by Zotpress.)
