I’ve got several issues with custom fields and related taxonomies.
1) When editing a CPT, the instances of the taxonomy don’t get displayed. Only way to assign taxonomies to the CPT is via quick edit function in the CPT overview list. Once a taxonomy option has been used, it will show up in the CPT editing screen.
2) When e.g. selecting 2 options in the CPT editing screen, it will not sync to the quick edits view and the taxonomies editing screen.

Screenshot C shows all the available options (which are missing in the CPT editing screen) in the taxonomy overview list and how the count of one option is 0 although it’s supposed to be 1 because it has been selected in the CPT editing screen: Image C

3) And even stranger, the FacetWP plugin will display the two selected options in the filter. So we have:
– CPT edit screen: 2 options selected and saved
– FacetWP will display both selected options in the facet resp. filter
– Quick edit of the CPT shows only 1 selected option
– Overview list of the taxonomy shows only 1 selected option
