I am trying to add a video from my Dropbox account to my website using Easy Video Player. I got the URL for the video from Dropbox and, because I want the video to autoplay, I substituted the URL from Dropbox in the appropriate location into the code below.
[evp_embed_video url=”http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/videos/myvid.mp4″ autoplay=”true”]
When I did this, my code looked as follows:
[evp_embed_video url=”https://www.dropbox.com/s/i5bmupm48861m4b/Pentecost%20Video.MP4?dl=0″autoplay=”true”]
I entered this code into a test post, selected Video as the format for the post and previewed it. The preview showed a black field with the subject line above superimposed in white.
I am using Version 5.2.2 of WordPress. Thanks for any help!
