Translate customizr home page

Hello,

I have tried this method: https://polylang.wordpress.com/2013/11/12/polylang-and-the-customizr-theme/

But it doesn’t work. I have created the file and uploaded to the foldter mentioned but nothing happend. I don’t have the home page fields in the Polylang strings for translation.
