Override :date is being ignored

Hi,

I’m using WordPress 5.2.1, Postie 1.9.35.

Postie is working for me, except that I can’t seem to get it to respond to the documented :date override in text emails.

My post emails are plain text and the first line of the email body is a line of the form:

:date 1 Jan, 2019

followed by the rest of the body. The :date marker is not parsed, it just appears at the beginning of the generated post. There are no errors in Debug.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for a fix?
