How to select language switcher before displaying the pages

Hi,

Thank you for creating this awesome plugin. I would like to ask how to display the language switcher for first-time visitors only. I know that there is a shortcode to select the language but is there a webhook or cookies that I can use to detect if the user has selected the preferred language?
