How to use filter “yith_ywot_carrier_list” to add new carriers

Hello,
in the plugin readme you say you added a filter for devs yith_ywot_carrier_list, to add new carriers from outside the plugin.
Could you please share an example snippet on how to use it exactly?
There’s no documentation anywhere on this.
