Shortcode embedded and user logged in only to get ‘false’ message

Hello

I embedded <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[favorite_button]’); ?> in a page template and logged in as a user. However, upon clicking the Favorites button, only ‘false’ is returned:

The same error is returned even when I’m not logged in. Please someone help me fix the bug and get the button working as it should.
