I am new to WordPress (and new to Forums, so please excuse me if I am in the wrong forum or make other errors). I have been working on a website and have the following (annoying) problems that I can’t fix.
1- If I set a block of text to a ‘header’ (H2, H3, etc) and then save and/or view the page, the header doesn’t show. I found under the customization tab a place where the header color was white. I don’t know if this is the same header, but I changed it to green and I still had the same issue. I think that header is what is in the header of the entire page – not a block header.
2- I have woocommerce and have products listed with categories. If I use the woocommerce tab in ‘customization’ I can display categories or products. But if I create a ‘block’ and want to show products and select ‘categories’, I can’t select any categories and I get an error message that “Your store doesn’t have any product categories”. It clearly does and I want to have separate pages for each category but that type of block just doesn’t do anything, even if I select ‘woocommerce’ from the bottom, which is a slightly different block.
3- under each item in my shop there is a white space buy not product title. I can mouse over and select and see the title. Clearly it is in white font, similar to item #1 but (again) I can’t find where to change that.
Why are there 2 different sets of edits (“customization” and “edit page”) and when do I use one or the other?
