Plugin is really great and I think you should keep a free version and the PRO version with short codes and other extra features in new versions. Even 8$ from my point of view is too cheap.
A- To include a field maybe per user where you can enable or not an e-mail address to send to administrators or anyone everytime the user upload files. As an option.
B- As I mentioned you I think there should be another global setup field where you can add a folder name to be included in middle of the path between wp-content\… strong-folder-name…\advance file manager folders. This an extra security. Admins could create this folder by FTP/SSH in the wordpress tree and then writedown this folder name or maybe your plugin could create this folder if admin user choose this option during initial setup.
C-When users upload files to show a pop up or an html box with certain text that you can set up from admin back end. Some text like: Thank you for uploading information, we’ll get in touch as soon as possible. Or Thank you for uploading the files, if you need to contact us please…. any text.
