Hello, after trying WCV for just 5 mins, I come to that conclusion. why?
1. seller can’t change the order status. Then how can the admin know this order has been fulfilled or not by the vendor? Just blindly paying commision to seller even the order has not been fulfilled to buyer? yes there is a “mark as shipped” and it doesnt appy to virtual product. Then if a buyer buy a service from the seller. how can seller tag the order as delivered? how? look all “real” marketplace. amazon, fiverr, aliexpress, etc. all allow vendor to update their order status.
2. Commision is always approved to the seller. Even the order status is still ‘processing’/ ‘on-hold’. There is no setting to set the commision will only be approved if the order status is ‘completed’. If like this, all seller just need to buy their own product. no need to do anything to get the commision. As admin dont know which order has been completed from commision dashboard.
