Sidebar won’t hold Spamshield widgets

Hi. I can’t get any of the WP-Spamshield widgets into my sidebar. I drag either one in, hit save, and then test and don’t see the widget. When I return to the Widgets screen the widget is no longer on the sidebar. I’ve tried removing other widgets such as Categories, the Akismet counter, etc., but no luck.
