Hello,
When geolocation with page caching support is activated on my website (www.oneshotoilershop.com), it slows down the page loading speed from under 2 seconds to over 5 seconds. This does not happen with ordinary geolocation activated (i.e. without page caching support), no location by default, or shop base address selected.
My site uses W3 Total Cache. I managed to improve the page loading speed from in excess of 10 seconds with geolocation with page caching support activated, to the current 5 second by enabling “Cache URIs with query string variables” in the W3 TC page cache settings. (Before I could enable this feature, I had to change the page cache method from “disk: enhanced” to “disk: basic” otherwise the feature would not be selectable.)
My questions is: should my page loading speed slow down so much after geolocation with page caching support is activated? If not, what could be causing the drastic slow down that my site is experiencing with the feature enabled?
Thank you.
