Hi!
I am a newbie using WP 5.1 w/ the Twenty Nineteen theme. And, my goal is to create a SIMPLE blog.
The theme’s default widgets are: Archives, Categories, Meta, etc.
I am planning to create a Menu w/ 6 pages: a Main Page (a static page describing the blog), 4 pages for 4 types of posts, and an About Page (also a static page).
Do I really need any of the default widgets?
(1) Archives is only used to locate older posts rather than scrolling. Am I right?
(2) In Meta, I only use the Log In and Log Out. To Log In, I can just type the following URL: http://www.blog.acrylicmath.com/wp-login.php And, to Log Out, I can just use the “Howdy…” Icon. Am I right?
(3) And, as far as Categories is concerned, I am already categorizing the posts in different pages.
