Date of Birth Year field empty after reload with required field missing

The issue I experience is when a required field in BuddyPress is in error, when the page reloads it does not load the value for the year component of the select, and has to be entered by the user to get the page to load, even though they have a valid saved birthdate.

In this instance, the Cost Per Hour field is required, but is empty, and this is what is shown after the page loads.
Currently have v 2.6 installed
