Hi there,
we’re tasked with setting up an online shop for a customer for the swiss market.
We already tried to contact the tech support via email, because of the extent of our questions, but we were redirect here. So please excuse if this is a lot to ask.
DHL Paket works fine for now, but the backoffice has some questions/concerns, we would like to address and resolve and we hope that you can help with that 🙂
1. Is it possible to use the order number as the reference number on the label? The changelogs of the plugin say that such an option was added recently, but we can’t find it in the settings.
2. Is it possible to retrieve the shipment documents (“Paketkarte” / “Zollinhaltserklärung”, not the label) directly via the WooCommerce backend?
3. And it is possible to split an order into more than one parcel? Since we often sell big furniture parts, we often need to use multiple packages for the same order. Right now we can only create these labels via the Business Customer Portal and it would be a tremendous help if we could get this working from within the plugin.
A year ago this was discussed in the plugin’s support forum and the user was told this is not possible. But a year has passed and maybe we’re lucky 🙂
Another user told the community that he got the plugin modified to provide this functionality, so it’s basically possible, just not a “finished feature”?!
If something is not possible right out of the box, we’d be happy if you could point us in the right direction to customize the plugin. We have a pretty experienced WordPress developer on hand and with the right “guidance” we’re sure we can come up with solutions by ourself.
