read more link with text fade out

Hello I use pop ups with the pop up builder plugin on my DIVI website an I use read more links if there in longer text in the pop up (use it as a link to an other site with the komplete text..) .. that works well!
Now I like to FADE OUT the text before the read more link. I found 2 disciptions https://css-tricks.com/text-fade-read-more/

but I dont know how to do it in the popup builder? is it possible ?
Can somebody help? – I am a wordpress beginner and my english is bad….
