Unfortunately, I’m pretty disappointed with my experience with this company.
I purchased a plugin from their website which I have no issues with, but my issue is with the ethos of the company itself.
I was charged a renewal yearly subscription on a plugin that I no longer use and to be honest, had forgotten about. It’s completely uninstalled from the website and no longer active.
I was away at the time so only noticed after they taken the payment. I contacted them directly about 4 days after the payment had left my account and asked for a refund to which they replied no and said they have a no refunds policy and that they had sent me a reminder email before it was due to go out. This email was only sent 2 days before it was due to out which I missed due to being away and not checking my emails frequently. I don’t think a 2-day warning is adequate enough as it is and especially during the festive period when people aren’t checking their emails as often.
I feel like they’re being unfair. Surely there should get a cool off period for any payments taken on subscriptions that have been forgotten about and aren’t active rather than just a “no, no refund”.
