When I installed Yoast plugin form day one the posts sitemap is incredibly slow. I ignored initially but now worried it might affect indexing. SEMRush gives up and times out with the site audit it’s so slow. So I am worried Google may give up too.
I currently have about 51 posts and the posts sitemap takes 37 seconds to load! How can I troubleshoot this issue? Is there a setting to have a static file instead?
