Apparently there are plenty complains about the new editor. I agree, a nightmare it is.
While most of the complains are about unfamiliar front end visual my trouble goes beyond that.
When I try to edit a post about New York, a new editor opens post about Toronto. Even when I open web page first and chose “edit page” from the task bar, it will still open wrong post. Same for pages. I can not edit even if I got used to the new visual.
While people try to install the “classic editor” plug-in to return to familiar editor, I have doubts if it will solve my problem.
So question to WP:
– Will it?
– How can I downgrade from the version 5.01 and return back to 4.88 ?
– I am using Page Builder by SiteOrigin (as millions of others do) … will the “classic editor” plug-in work with SiteOrigin’s Page Builder ?
