I’ve run into this problem before and it didn’t get resolved. I’ve just reinstalled a fresh copy of WordPress and I have my domain name attached to my external IP given to me by my ISP.
When I work locally I access my server with a private IP eg. 192.168.1.220 and I can access the WordPress website but if I change the settings to my external IP of 66.103.41.184 I can no longer access the website locally and I have to find a way to log in from an outside source (ie. cellphone). If I have the settings changed to my local IP then I can access it internally but when going to http://www.kimosabeit.com I get the website but it’s stripped of all CSS and the load up is very slow.
How can I run this setup properly?
